I really wonder how long Gordon Brown has left!   As I listened to Harriet Harman yesterday on Nicky Campbell’s Radio 5 show it became apparent just how angry the public are with him (as if we already didn’t know).   They just see a man hanging on for dear life to his waning career, a man only interested in self preservation and not what’s best for our country.   They see a man who has betrayed them over a European referendum, a man who is simply unable to to say sorry for anything that’s happened on his watch.

All this is bad enough but when I heard him ridiculed by Nicky Campbell yesterday he sunk to depths in my mind.    

A caller phoned in yesterday and asked Harriet Harman why when all the other party leaders had come on the show in recent weeks for an hour and spoke to the public had he sent his deputy.    The man said, “I spoke to David Cameron 2 weeks ago, why can’t I speak to Gordon Brown?”   Miss Harman said – well he’s very busy running the country etc etc etc………….Nicky Campbell interjected – but Miss Harman he had time last night to telephone Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan to say how worried he is about Susan Boyle after she only came runner up in Britains Got Talent………….need I say any more.
